Loot from the Fall Festival

Saturday morning was spent wandering around the Cuyamaca Water Garden's Fall Fiber Festival - I didn't stay very long but long enough to come home with some goodies.

Alpaca Tussah Silk Roving...

Sandalwood dyed merino wool top

The irresistable sheep tape (one for me and one for my Secret Pal II)

Thanks to Wendy for the heads up about the event. I even got to spend a little time spinning on an Ashford single treadle Elizabeth (makes me appreciate my double treadle Lendrum even more).

Oh man! I can't believe I missed you! I didn't know you were heading out here...well, are you still planning to bring your wheel to CdL on the 20th?

Also, why can I not get a bloglines update for you; everytime I click, blogline tells me it can't find any feeds? strangeness.

I was only there for about an hour - from 9:30- 10:30ish. I did watch the Sheep to Shawl competition for a while and bought a few raffle tickets. Have you heard of the Spinning Class they have at Mt. Helix High School at night?

I'm planning to go to the Claire du Lune on Wednesday. Staying at my mom's house for the week which is in Sorrento Valley so the trip shouldnt be too far.
