Secret Pal 2 Heaven

And the end of SP2 has come, and I've been utterly and totally spoiled by my SP2. The last package came today and I opened it up like a mad woman as I headed to my office. When I opened up the box the most incredible colors were revealed, it was like autumn in a forest with the golds and reds and mossy greens. It was a huge hank of silk from Blue Heron Yarns - 1125 yards! *swoon* I can already see it as a lovely lacy shawl for my mom. Not only the lovely yarn there was a jar of lavendar and lanolin hand balm - it smells wonderful and soaks right in. I had to try it immediately and am in love. I like it better than the Handknitters Balm which to me smells a little too woodsy. And to top it all off I have a lovely wooden circular size 4 which looks like rosewood. The joins are lovely and smooth and I cant wait to start a project with it.

Thank you to my SP2 - you were just wonderful!

The needles ARE rosewood -- I should have mentioned that in my note. I am SO glad you like the silk. It should be enough to make a lovely shawl. Let me know how the color repeats work out. Everything that I have knit from their handdyed yarns have turned out beautifully with minimal pooling!
